Total knee replacement enables people to live free of chronic pain. Eventually, however, a knee replacement may fail because of several reasons which can cause pain and swelling. If your knee replacement fails, the doctor may recommend that you have a second surgery called as Revision Total Knee Replacement. In this procedure, the surgeon removes some or all parts of the original prosthesis and replaces them with new ones. Revision Knee Replacement Surgery is a longer and more complicated procedure that requires extensive planning and specialized implants and tools to achieve a good result.

Hip Joint Replacement Surgery
Hip revision surgery is done to repair an artificial hip joint that has been diseased over time due to an infection, or due to normal wear and tear of the prosthetic hip.
